How to Plan a Bachelorette Party or Corporate Event in Napa
Throwing a bachelorette party or corporate event in Napa seemed like a good idea - that is, until you actually started to do some planning and found out that wine tasting with a group is a lot different from when you came here as a couple. Wineries you loved turn you down, fees get bumped it, it’s frustrating.
Or maybe you forgot to plan it altogether and you’re starting to panic as the date ticks closer.
Well guess what? I’ve helped tons of bachelorettes and companies plan great events, from budget friendly to big splurges. I’ll give you all the options and as always if you have questions, just email me!
The Easiest Way: Laces + Limos
Elegant, unique, and super fun!
For groups up to 12 this is by far the easiest and best way for a bachelorette party or corporate event. They’ll pick you up downtown Napa in cool 3 wheeled tuk-tuks and whisk you away along the back roads of Napa. Already fun, right? Then a few stops at hidden gem wineries and the grand finale, a gourmet picnic right in the vineyards.
The tuk-tuks are so small they squeeze between the rows of vines and a white tablecloth awaits with the most beautiful picnic before you. I defy you to not take a photo, it’s so beautiful. And speaking of photos, your event is professionally photographed, included.
BENEFITS: Absolutely no planing or decision making on your part. You just get in and go and everyone is going to think you’re a hero. Settings are Instagram perfect. Company is woman owned too and easy to work with.
2 for 1 and Budget Friendly
Use Multiple Priority Wine Passes to get 2 for 1 Discounts!
While not every winery on the wine pass accepts large groups enough of them do to fill up a day or even a weekend. Check out the list and group size limits here and get one wine pass for every two people. You’ll find big names like Sterling and Beringer on the pass along with smaller family run wineries who will give your group plenty of attention.
Even factoring in the $39 cost of the pass you can’t do an event much cheaper than this. Plus each pass comes with free concierge service to help you pick the wineries that fit whatever your group might be looking for. Reach out to me if you need transportation as well, highly recommended even for budget events.
BENEFITS: You can’t do an event much cheaper. With 3 wineries you can easily keep the costs below $100 per person, and that includes the cost of the pass.
Groups of 12 to 100+
Private events with my winery friends!
Whether you’re looking for an upscale vibe or just a place to host a huge event, this is the best option when you need everything to go well. Professional and experienced, these wineries will work with you to create the ultimate experience. Need food? Transportation? After hours private chef dinner? Olive oil tasting option? Pretty much whatever you want these wineries can make it happen.
And best yet, sometimes I can even work out a discounted price that’s lower than if you just called yourself. Start with reaching out to me and telling me what you’re looking for and I’ll connect you, free of charge, to wineries I think will match up to your needs best.
BENEFITS: When it needs to be perfect, go with this route. Not nearly as expensive as it sounds. These are nice wineries too, impressive and professional staff.
E-Bikes and Wine Tasting
Visit wineries on e-bikes, a great alternative to driving or hiring a driver!
One of the biggest challenges of group events is transportation and renting e-bikes solves this issue and provides a fun and different way to experience Napa. You can rent bikes and go on your own (they’ll provide you with a map and suggestions) or do it as a guided tour with a provided picnic lunch from Bouchon Bakery.
And don’t worry, the recommended bike paths are not going to have you competing with fast moving cars on the main highway but rather on dedicated bike paths. It’s fun, it’s a cool activity, and a great way to spend a day in Napa that’s not 100% wine-centric.
BENEFITS: Fun alternative to just hitting up wineries, the journey becomes a major part of the activities.
